Peninsula Psychology was founded by Dr Christina Faber, registered Clinical Psychologist.
Christina is passionate about improving the mental health and well-being of others. She offers a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to support people through difficulties and promote healing and growth.
Whilst Christina draws upon a range of approaches depending on the needs of the client, she has witnessed the transformative impact of mindfulness and meditation upon mental health. She believes that these practices can lead to greater self-awareness, increased emotional stability and less suffering. Christina has a personal daily practice and attends yearly silent meditation retreats. She has facilitated many mindfulness and compassion based groups and has written meditation scripts for apps such as Smiling Mind.
